Marco De Luca
Marco De Luca (born May 12, 1981 in Rome ) is an Italian walker and specialist in the 50 km distance .
At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , he came in 13th place. The following year he finished seventh at the European Championships in Gothenburg , and at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he finished 19th.
Eighth place at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin was followed by a sixth place at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona.
From 2006 to 2009 he was Italian champion over the 50 km distance.
Marco De Luca is 1.88 m tall and weighs 69 kg. He is trained by Patrizio Parcesepe and starts for Fiamme Gialle.
