Marco Ilsø

Marco Ilsø (born September 29, 1994 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actor .

Life

Marco Ilsø's parents Else Ilsø Larsen and Finn Ilsø are both well-known athletes in Denmark. Finn Ilsø was a professional football player for the club B.93 Copenhagen , Else Ilsø Larsen played handball in the Danish national youth team.

Ilsø has two older brothers, Nick and Ken . Ken has been active in professional football since 2005, including as a national player for the Danish U-19 to U-21 national team , the German clubs Fortuna Düsseldorf and VfL Bochum , since 2018 for the Australian club Adelaide United under the jersey number 10. Marco Ilsø himself played for BK Friheden when he was a child .

Marco Ilsø has appeared as a film and, above all, television actor since 2008. The breakthrough came at the latest with the TV series Vikings , in which he has played the role of Hvitserk , a son of the Viking king Ragnar Lodbrok, since 2016 . Since 2018 he can be seen in the TV mini-series Krieger in the role of Mads, a contender for the outlaw biker gang Wolves Copenhagen.
