Marco Klingberg

Marco Klingberg (born June 23, 1974 ) is a former German basketball player . The 1.85 meter tall winger played in the basketball league for SV Tübingen .

Career

Klingberg played in the youth of Unity Pedagogy Magdeburg and from 1990 for the men's team of OSC Magdeburg in the regional league and the 2nd basketball league . In 1994 he moved within the 2nd Bundesliga to MTV Wolfenbüttel , where he went basket-hunting in the 1994/95 season, followed by five years at OSC Wolmirstedt, for which he was also in the second-highest German class.

For the 2000/01 season Klingberg was signed by SV Tübingen and rose with the team in the spring of 2001 in the basketball league  . In the first division he played eleven games for Tübingen during the 2001/02 season and scored an average of 2.6 points per game. After two years in Tübingen, Klingberg joined the BBC Magdeburg in 2002 , where he was a top performer in the first regional league until 2009. After a two-year stint at Aschersleben Tigers BC (2009 to 2011), with whom he was promoted from the second to the first regional league in 2011, he returned to Magdeburg and was there again in the first regional league in the 2011/12 season.
