Marco Antonio Menéndez Monterrubio (born June 9, 1950 in Atotonilco el Grande , Hidalgo ) is a former Mexican football player who mainly acted in attack .

career

Menéndez spent his first professional years at CF Atlante , where he was under contract from 1968 to 1971. Menéndez then completed two guest appearances, each limited to a season, at the league rivals CD Zacatepec (1971/72) and CD Guadalajara (1972/73), before he had his longest stint with the UANL Tigres between 1973 and 1977 , with whom he played that season 1975/76 won the cup competition . Menéndez spent his last season (1977/78) with the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz .
