The Majenfelder Au (also Braaker Au ) is a brook in Schleswig-Holstein . It was named after the Bosau village Majenfelde (or Braak ) through which it flows.
course
The Majenfelder Au rises on parcel no. 212 of the Eutin state forest east of the village of Thürk in a pond at an altitude of about 68 m. It initially runs in a deep trench in a north-easterly direction. After about 3.6 km it joins another moat to the east of the forest. Then it runs in an easterly direction, crosses Majenfelde and crosses under the L 176 between Eutin and Hutzfeld. The Liensfelder Au flows south of Braak and drains the Klenzauer See , which was restored in 1996 , until it flows into the Schwartau east of Braak at the Braaker Mühle .
Since it carries more water than this at the confluence with the Schwartau, it could be seen as the actual source stream of the Schwartau.
