Marco Weber (born February 6, 1975 in Daun ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Life and education

Marco Weber grew up in Lissendorf . After his secondary school leaving certificate , he attended the agricultural school in Prüm . Weber is an agricultural master and runs an arable and cattle farm together with his brother.

Weber joined the FDP in 2004 and has been a member of the district council of the Vulkaneifel district since 2009 , where he is chairman of the parliamentary group. Since 2013 he has been a member of the state board of the FDP Rhineland-Palatinate . Weber is also the district chairman of the FDP Vulkaneifel and deputy district chairman of the FDP Eifel-Hunsrück.

In the state elections in 2016 , he ran in the constituency of Vulkaneifel and was elected to the 17th state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate via the state list . There he is a member of the Council of Elders, the Committee on Agriculture and Viticulture and Chairman of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Food.

Social Commitment

Marco Weber is district chairman of the Vulkaneifel farmers' association.

Private

Weber is married and has three children.
