Marcolino Moco

Marcolino JC Moco (* 1953 ) is an Angolan politician.

Between 1989 and 1992 Moco worked as Minister for Youth and Sport. He resigned from office to become Prime Minister of Angola on December 2, 1992. He held this office for one legislative period until June 3, 1996.

In July 1996 he became the first secretary in the newly formed Community of Portuguese- Speaking Countries (CPLP), which he remained until 2000.

Moco is a member of the MPLA , which has ruled the country since its independence in 1975.
