Johannes Bank

Johannes Bank (born August 29, 1897 in Einum ; † January 11, 1976 in Uehrde ) was a German politician (center).

Bank attended grammar school in Duderstadt and began his legal and economic studies in Göttingen after graduating from high school . In Silesia , Bank worked as a farmer at Goldberg. Until 1934 he was active in economic policy. At the end of the Second World War , Bank lost its existence in Silesia and returned to its place of birth, Einum.

In the spring of 1946 he became a member of the state executive committee of the German Center Party . In April 1946 he became a member of the Hildesheim district parliament. Bank belonged to the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 2, 1950, when it replaced the late Georg Kassenbrock , until 1955. From October 26, 1950 to April 30, 1951, he was deputy chairman of the center parliamentary group. From October 8, 1953 to January 13, 1955 he was chairman of the central parliamentary group , with the dissolution of which he became non-attached.
