Georg Kassenbrock

Georg Kassenbrock (born March 17, 1899 in Iburg ; † May 25, 1950 in Osnabrück ) was a German tax officer and politician ( center ).

After attending the Carolinum grammar school in Osnabrück , Kassenbrock embarked on a civil service career, worked in financial administration and was most recently appointed tax inspector. From 1938 he worked as a tax advisor in Osnabrück.

Kassenbrock was a member of the German Center Party . After the Second World War he was elected regional chairman of the Center Party in Lower Saxony . In 1946/47 he was a member of the Appointed Lower Saxony State Parliament and was then elected to the Lower Saxony State Parliament, to which he belonged until his death. On June 11, 1947, he was appointed minister without portfolio in the government of the state of Lower Saxony led by Prime Minister Hinrich Wilhelm Kopf . From June 9, 1948 until his death, he was State Minister for Special Tasks.
