Marcos Crespo (born October 6, 1986 in Las Flores , Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Marcos Crespo was the Argentine junior champion in 2004 in the single pursuit on the track. On the road, he was successful in the prologue of the Clásica del Oeste-Doble Bragado in 2008 , which was held as a team time trial. The following year he won a stage of the Vuelta al Valle and the one-day race Doble Media Agua . In the 2010 season, Crespo won two stages of the Vuelta de San Juan and the Vuelta al Valle and the overall ranking of the Vuelta al Valle . He was also successful in a stage of the Doble Chepes and in the one-day race Cámaras Colla .

At the Pan American Championships 2010, Crespo won the bronze medal in the two-man team driving on the track together with his compatriot Martín Ercila . The following year he won bronze in the team pursuit . At both the Pan American Championships and the Pan American Games , he won bronze in the team pursuit in 2011, as well as at the Pan American Championships the following year. In 2014 Crespo ended his cycling career in the elite. In 2018 he started again at the Argentine road championships and finished 24th in the road race.
