Marcus Artorius Priscillus Vicasius Sabidianus (full name form Marcus Artorius Marci filius Palatina Priscillus Vicasius Sabidianus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD . The military career of Priscillus consisted of the usual tres militiae for a member of the equestrian order . After that, he probably returned to his hometown of Puteoli for some time to become patron and priest of the deified Augustus ( flamen divi Augusti ). His administrative activity as prefect is also evidenced by papyri ; in another papyrus, dated 117/118, he is mentioned as an epistrategist.
