Marcus Calpurnius Longus
Marcus Calpurnius Longus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .
A military diploma shows that Longus was a suffect consul with Decimus Velius Fidus on December 22, 144 . The two are also listed as consuls in an inscription that is dated 148/149.
Longus is possibly identical with Lucius Marcius Celer Marcus Calpurnius Longus , who is documented by inscriptions from Attaleia, today's Antalya and Calpurnius Longus , the governor of the province of Achaia ; Celer was adopted into the Calpurnii family. Titus Flavianus Titianus Quintus Vilius Proculus Lucius Marcius Celer Marcus Calpurnius Longus is also a relative ; possibly he was the adopted son of the Celer.

Remarks
- ^ According to Paul Holder (2004, 2006) this identity is likely. According to Johannes Nollé , this identification cannot be ruled out, but it is also not certain. Longus could also have been an ancestor, possibly the adoptive father of Celer.
