Marcus D'Arcy is a film editor .

Life

D'Arcy began his work in the field of film editing as an assistant editor in the early 1980s. From the middle of the decade he was also responsible for the post-production of several films as post-production supervisor , including Death Silence from 1989.

From 1989 he worked as an independent editor, for television and cinema productions alike. In 1996 he and Jay Friedkin were nominated for an Oscar in the Best Editing category for their work on A Piglet Called Babe . They also received a nomination for the British Academy Film Award in the same category .
