Marcus Sakey

Marcus Sakey (* 1974 in Flint , Michigan ) is an American crime novel writer .
Sakey worked in advertising for ten years before starting to write crime novels. He explains that ten years in advertising were the perfect experience for him to write about thieves and murderers. Since 2007 he has published five crime novels , three science fiction novels and one fantasy novel.
Marcus Sakey is married and lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter .
