Marcus Wächtler

Marcus Wächtler (born October 23, 1979 in Freiberg , Saxony ) is a German author .

Wächtler grew up in Freiberg. In 1996 he graduated from the comprehensive school Theodor Körner and in 1999 he graduated from the vocational school center Julius Weisbach and did his military service in Emsland . Wächtler then began a master's degree in political science, modern and modern history as well as economic and social history at the Technical University of Dresden . Since 2005 he has been working as an independent event manager and also as a DJ.

Wächtler has been writing since he was 30. In 2015 he brought out his first self- published detective novel Grüner Dresdner by Südwestbuch . Since 2017 he published as an author in his own publishing house Edition Elbflorenz additional titles of different genres such as fantasy and romance in self-publishing .

Wächtler lives and works in the Outer Neustadt of Dresden and is married.
