Marcus Wallenberg

Marcus Wallenberg (born September 2, 1956 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish banker and industrialist .

Life

As the son of the banker Marc Wallenberg and his wife Olga Wehtje, Marcus is a member of the famous Wallenberg family . He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University . He was trained as a lieutenant at the Royal Swedish Naval Academy .

He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Saab Group since 1992 , from 1992 as Deputy Chairman and since 2006 he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He owns 100,000 Saab shares. Since 2005 he has also been President of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken .

Marcus Wallenberg is married to Fanny Sachs and has one child with her. Marcus Wallenberg has three children from a previous marriage.
