Marek Łatas

Marek Jerzy Łatas (born April 20, 1960 in Myślenice ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the V and VI since 2005 . Electoral term.

In 1987 he finished his studies at the Pedagogical Academy in Cracow . He worked as a teacher, then he was the director of a school in Myślenice. From 1998 to 2002 he was a member of the Sejmik of Małopolskie Voivodeship (Lesser Poland). He was active in the Ruch Społeczny AWS (Social Movement AWS), then he joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS).

In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Chrzanów from the list of PiS. In the 2007 Sejm elections , he was again a member of the PiS with 16,169 votes. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for education, science and youth, as well as for sport.
