Marek Šindelka
Marek Šindelka (* 1984 in Polička ) is a Czech writer .
Life
In addition to his literary work, Marek Šindelka studied cultural studies at Charles University in Prague and screenwriting at FAMU in Prague . For his debut , the book of poems strychnine a jiné Básně ( Paseka , 2005), he received the in 2006 Jiří Orten Prize . In 2008, Šindelka published his first novel Chyba by Pistorius & Olšanská , which was also published as a comic in 2011. Šindelka has also written articles for the Czech literary magazines Souvislosti , A2 and Host , as well as the short story volumes Zůstaňte s námi , for which he was awarded the Magnesia Litera Prize in the prose category in 2012, and Mapa Anny . In 2016, Únava materiálu was published since the second novel . In 2017, Šindelka received the Magnesia Litera Prize for Prose again for this novel.
