Marek Piwowski
Marek Andrzej Piwowski (born October 24, 1935 in Warsaw ) is a Polish film director and screenwriter .
Marek Piwowski studied journalism in Warsaw and finished these studies in 1963. He then began studying directing at the Łódź Film School , which he graduated in 1968. While still studying in Łódź , he began his directing career with small documentaries. He made his feature film debut in 1970 with the film Rejs , which is still one of the legendary cult films of Polish cinema today. In addition to his work as a feature film director and screenwriter, Piwowski also worked as a documentary filmmaker until 1982. He also gives his feature films a documentary style time and again.
