Marek Polasik

Marek Polasik (born February 21, 1951 in Pasłęk ) is a Polish professor of physics and chemistry.

Life

Marek Polasik graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 1974 with a master's degree and then worked as a research assistant. For his dissertation Badania wpływu korelacji elektronowej na Strukturę energetyczną atomów wieloelektronowych in 1985 he won the prize of the Polish Ministry of Education. From 1986 he was a lecturer / junior professor at the Copernicus University. In 1999, he was the nuclear physicist Andrzej Sołtan with Theoretical Study of the X-ray Spectra Accompanying the Collision Processes habilitation . In 2003 Marek Polasik received an associate professorship at Toruń University, in 2012 he was appointed full professor of physics, a position he received three years later.
