Marek Poznański (born October 14, 1984 in Hrubieszów ) is a Polish politician of the Twój Ruch party .

Marek Poznański studied archeology at the Maria Curie Skłodowska University . He was then a doctoral student at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw . He mainly deals with experimental archeology and aerial photography archeology . In 2010 he was one of the two Polish archaeologists who investigated the scene of the plane crash near Smolensk . In the 2011 parliamentary elections , he ran for the Ruch Palikota (later renamed Twój Ruch ) and 16,640 voters in the constituency 7 Chełm voted  for him. This gave him a mandate for the Sejm .
