Maren Rennpferdt (* 1964 in Göttingen ) is a German lawyer . She is a judge at the Federal Labor Court .

Live and act

After completing her legal training in Lower Saxony in 1992, Rennpferdt initially worked as a lawyer. Already in 1991 she was from the University of Göttingen with the legal history book "Lex Anastasiana: Debt Protection in the Change of Times" to the Dr. iur. been awarded a doctorate. In 1994 she joined the Justice Service of the State of Hesse as a labor judge . There she was employed at various labor courts and at the Hessian regional labor court . After being seconded to the Federal Labor Court as a research assistant from 2006 to 2008, she was appointed presiding judge at the State Labor Court in 2009. In 2012 there was a secondment to theHessian Ministry of Justice .

Rennpferdt herself has been a judge at the Federal Labor Court since August 1, 2014. It was assigned to the 7th Senate , which is primarily responsible for works constitution law and time limits. As such, she was involved, among other things, in the decision on the appeal of the soccer goalkeeper Heinz Müller against 1. FSV Mainz 05 .
