Maretha Maartens
Maretha Maartens (born June 22, 1945 in Bloemfontein ) is a South African writer. She writes religious and children's books and gives many readings . She deals with the discrimination against blacks, especially women and children. In 1993 she received the Catholic Children's and Young People's Book Prize for her book Ink Bird .
Maretha Maartens has two children and is married to a pastor .
