Tomas Seyler (born July 16, 1974 in Bremerhaven ) is a German darts player . His nickname in darts is "Shorty". The trained shipbuilder and multiple German darts champion has been the German number 1 in darts for several years since 2002.

Career

In 2005 he was invited by the PDC to the World Professional Darts Championship , where he was eliminated in the second round against number 4 in the world, Roland Scholten . In 2006 he started again and this time failed in the first round to Colin Lloyd . Seyler was also involved in the World Professional Darts Championship in 2010, but lost in the preliminary round to Jan van der Rassel . At the PDC World Darts Championship 2014 Seyler lost in round 1 to Kevin Painter .

At the European Darts Championship 2010 he was eliminated in the first round 4-6 against Michael van Gerwen . At the European Darts Championship in 2012 he lost 6-0 in the first round against Wes Newton and 6-1 in 2013 against Raymond van Barneveld, also in round 1.

At most of the PDC major tournaments, Seyler supported - initially alongside Roland Scholten - as a dart expert, the TV broadcasts on Sport1 alongside Elmar Paulke and Tobias Drews , and as a columnist on their website.

In 2017 Seyler also released the party hit "Taylor Wonderland" together with Rick Arena .
