Marga Maria Werny

Marga Maria Werny (March 1913 - October 25, 1994 in Cologne ) was a German actress .

Life

Werny began her acting career in Tilsit in 1935 . From 1939 to 1940 she was in Schleswig and from 1945 to 1950 in Aachen. She had theater appearances and film engagements. Later she also did television work, a. a. in school television of the WDR, for example in the series Anna, Schmidt & Oskar , as well as in advertising. From 1971 she also worked as a translator. A wider public it was known until 1990, when it the role of Omar Sharif in the ARD -Unterhaltungsserie Schmidteinander played. In 1994 she died of heart failure in a Cologne hospital at the age of 81.
