Margarete Boos

Margarete Boos (born July 21, 1954 in Reutlingen ) is a German psychologist .

Life

Boos graduated from high school in Bonn in 1972 and then studied social sciences and mathematics at the University of Bonn , where she passed the First State Philological Examination in 1979 . She then worked as a freelance researcher at the Information Center for Social Sciences in Bonn and worked for the databases FORIS - Research Information System Social Sciences and SOLIS - Social Science Literature Information System.

In 1983 she was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. Between 1984 and 1986 she carried out scientific research as a freelancer for the Institute for Applied Social Science in Bad Godesberg . From 1985 to 1990 she was a research assistant and deputy project manager in the sub-project B4 of the Collaborative Research Center 221 “Management in Transition” at the University of Konstanz . From 1990 Boos was a research assistant at the Chair of Social Psychology in Konstanz . After her habilitation in 1993 in psychology , she was appointed full professor for economic and social psychology at the University of Göttingen in 1995 .
