Margarete White

Margarete Weiß (born June 23, 1912 in Sülfeld , † August 7, 1990 in Groß Kummerfeld ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

White attended the upper lyceum and the women's school as well as a kindergarten teacher seminar . She was the director of several kindergartens, social counselor and housewife.

Weiß was a member of the state executive committee of the FDP and the federal main committee of the FDP, chairwoman of the state committee for women's issues of the FDP and councilor of the city of Neumünster . From 1950 to 1958 and from 1962 to 1971 she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament and deputy chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group there. On June 23, 1967, she became parliamentary representative of the finance minister.
