Margaret Chapel (Barop)
The Protestant Margaret Chapel in the Barop district of Dortmund is a church building from the 13th century.
The chapel was first mentioned in documents in 1348.
Until 1655, the Margaret Chapel was a branch church of the Reinoldikirche in Dortmund. Under Brandenburg rule it became an independent Protestant church.
The church has a steel bell that was cast by the Bochumer Verein in 1919 .
The church is named after St. Margaretha .
The chapel was extensively renovated between 2001 and 2004 and is registered as a monument in the list of monuments of the city of Dortmund .
