Margit Schneider

Margit Schneider (born January 1, 1967 ) is an Austrian lawyer , technician and economist . She was a politician of the ( SPÖ ).

Schneider was a member of the state board of the Federation of Social Democratic Academics and was the SPÖ section chairman in Klagenfurt , the section was dissolved because, contrary to the party's wishes, it did not renounce its place on the list as a member of the state parliament. She was a substitute councilor in Klagenfurt and, after the government reshuffle in 2008, moved up as a member of the Carinthian state parliament on July 17, 2008 . She was an EIA lawyer and was a member of the Environment Senate.

Schneider is married and has one child.

Margit Schneider applied to be a member of the Constitutional Court in 2011. She presented herself as part of the parliamentary inquiry of the Federal Council in a hearing of applicants for the position of a member of the Constitutional Court.
