Margit Wennmachers

Margit Wennmachers (* 1965 in Gangelt - Brüxgen ) is an entrepreneur .

Wennmachers graduated from high school in St. Ursula in Geilenkirchen in 1984 . She studied foreign languages in Lippstadt . She then worked as a manager's secretary in an American start-up company . In Mallorca , where she had moved to learn Spanish, she taught German and English. In 1991 she moved to the United States in Silicon Valley in California . There she worked as an employee for four years until she founded her own marketing agency in 1997 . In 2007 she sold these for over ten million dollars. She then joined the investment company Andreessen Horowitz as a partner. She is considered a celebrity in America.

Margit Wennmachers lives with her daughter in San Francisco . She gave up her German citizenship and accepted the American one. She is currently trying to get a German passport again.
