Margret Schwekendiek (born November 8, 1955 ) is a German writer . She also uses the pseudonym Vanessa Crawford and Maran O'Connor on her joint publications with Antje Ippensen .

Life

Margret Schwekendiek grew up in the Ruhr area and in Ostwestfalen-Lippe . After finishing school, she trained as a commercial accountant.

Since 1991 she has been working as a writer in various genres. In the field of science fiction , she is responsible for the series Star Gate - Gate to the Stars as an author and editor as well as editor for the content and process. At Raumschiff Titan she is an author and editor, partly together with Horst Hoffmann . She is the author and supplier of ideas at Rex Corda , Rex Corda Nova and Sigam Agelon as an author and supplier of ideas.

In the field of crime and horror , she wrote several novels for Larry Brent , also under the pseudonym Maran O'Connor with Antje Ippensen . She is also working on the reissue of Black Bat , the crime series from the 1960s.

She has written more than 120 booklet novels for Bastei Lübbe Verlag and Kelter Verlag in the genres romantic thriller, mountain novel, doctor novel, princely novel, mommy novel and for her own series Der Alpendoktor .

She works as an editor for the monthly magazine Trend , Ortsanzeiger in the Gütersloh district .

Margret Schwekendiek married at the age of 18 and has three children. Her husband died in 1994. She lives with the family of the eldest son in a generation house in the Westerwald.
