Margreth Egidi

Margreth Egidi (* 1963 ) is a German German philologist and university professor.

Margreth Egidi received her doctorate in 1997 with a thesis on courtly love in song poetry at the Free University of Berlin . From 1997 to 2008 she held various positions at the University of Konstanz . There he completed his habilitation in 2008. In this she dealt with " Flore and Blanscheflur " and " Apollonius of Tyrland " from the point of view of the economy of exchange and gifts . After substitute professorships at the Universities of Konstanz, Münster and Paderborn as well as visiting professorships at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Freiburg , she was appointed professor for German literature and medieval language at the University of Paderborn in 2012.
