Margrit Jansen

Margrit Jansen (born November 15, 1947 in Graz ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Margrit Jansen has been a member of the SPD since 1991, where she holds various board positions.

She has been a member of the Langen City Council for the SPD since April 1993 and has been the deputy parliamentary group leader of the SPD since April 1, 1997. At the same time she is a member of the district council.

On September 17, 2002, she replaced the deceased Member of Parliament Günther Becker in the Hessian state parliament and was a member of the state parliament until the end of the electoral term.

Offices

Margrit Jansen is a member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Langen GmbH and co-founder of the Langen Mothers Center as well as the head of the Hessian Mothers Office.

In 2003 she was honored with the Medal of Merit of the Federal Cross of Merit and in 2006 with the Letter of Honor of the State of Hesse .
