Marián Palát (born June 1, 1977 ) is a Czech football player .
Club career
In his youth, Palát played exclusively for FK Bystřice pod Hostýnem. At the age of 19, he moved to Dukla Hranice for one season to do his military service there. The following two years he played for the then second division Hanácká Kyselka Přerov, in the 1999/00 season in the same league for Tatran Poštorná .
In the summer of 2000, the defender was signed by the first division club FC Bohemians Prague . Palát played eight league games for Prague. In the 2001/02 season he was loaned to the then second division SK České Budějovice , then he returned to Prague , but was given up in August 2002 to FK AS Pardubice in the second division.
In the summer of 2004, the defender went to the Gambrinus League for FK Mladá Boleslav , where he quickly earned a regular place. After three years in Mladá Boleslav , Palát moved to Lutsch-Energija Wladiwostok in the Russian Premier League in the summer of 2007 .
At the end of August 2008, Palát moved to the Slovak first division club MFK Ružomberok and signed a one-year contract there. In March 2009, Palát moved to Viktoria Žižkov , but his contract, which ran until the end of the season, was not extended. In late 2009, Palát joined the fourth division Valašské Meziříčí.
