Assumption of Mary is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Kalletal district of Hohenhausen in the district of Lippe , North Rhine-Westphalia . It is a branch church of the Heilig-Geist-Kirche in Lemgo and belongs to the pastoral association Lemgo-Nordlippe of the Dean's Office Bielefeld-Lippe in the Archdiocese of Paderborn .

The church was built in 1951/52 according to plans by Aloys Dietrich and financial support from the Bonifatiusverein. In 1972 a chapel and a vestibule were added according to plans by Horst Austermann.

architecture

The church is rectangular and of a gable roof covered. The side windows are arched; the roof turret has an onion dome . In the front wall of the church there is a narrow arched niche in which the altar stands. The liturgical furnishings were created in 1986 in the Winkelmann workshop.
