Assumption of Mary is a former collegiate monastery in Laufen in Bavaria in the diocese of Freising .
history
The collegiate foundation was founded by Paris von Lodron , Archbishop of Salzburg . The statute existed since 1621. There was no official repeal in the course of secularization , but from 1809 the canonicals were no longer occupied. As early as 1796, the church treasure was abducted by the French. In 1806 the Dechantshof served as a hospital . The pre-existing collegiate church was redesigned for use by the canons in a baroque style, later a choir for the canons was separated from the part accessible to the citizens.
