Maria Otto Prize
The Maria Otto Prize has been awarded annually by the German Lawyers' Association since 2010 to female lawyers who have distinguished themselves in their profession, justice, politics and society, but also to persons or organizations who have rendered outstanding services to female lawyers to have.
It is named after Maria Otto , who was admitted as the first female German lawyer in 1922 after a few exceptions and changes to the law.
