Maria Ammon
Maria Ammon (born Berger, born October 24, 1948 in Regensburg ) is a German psychologist , psychoanalyst , group psychotherapist and psychotherapy scientist .
Live and act
After studying psychology in Regensburg and at the Technical University of Berlin, he did his doctorate there, with the topic: Childhood and puberty of schizophrenic structured people: A qualitative study of patients and their families. This was followed by additional training as a psychoanalyst , depth psychologist and group psychotherapist with the appropriate medical certification . In addition to teaching and therapeutic activities, she works as a lecturer, training analyst and supervisor in the state-recognized training institutes of the German Academy for Psychoanalysis in Berlin and Munich and the Dynamic Psychiatric Clinic Menterschwaige. At an early stage, Maria Ammon became involved in the international exchange of psychotherapeutic experiences as well as theoretical and conceptual developments and led congresses and conferences. It promotes scientific exchange and links to clinics, institutes and universities worldwide. After completing her habilitation in medical psychology at the Bekterev Psychoneurological Research Institute in St. Petersburg, she teaches there as a lecturer and supervisor for psychodynamic therapy procedures and is active throughout Russia as part of postgraduate training. Ammon's research and interests are in the areas of schizophrenia , the transgenerational transmission of trauma , androgyny , creativity and happiness . She was married to Günter Ammon and has three children from her first marriage.
