Maria Blohmke

Maria Blohmke (born July 26, 1922 in Königsberg (Prussia) ; † February 2, 2016 in Munich ) was a German doctor .

Life

Maria Blohmke was the daughter of the ENT university professor Artur Blohmke . From 1975 to 1987 she was professor for occupational and social medicine at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . She headed the German Social Medical Society from 1975 to 1981, making her the first woman in Germany to have a scientific-medical society.
