Maria Consolata Collino (born December 9, 1947 in Turin ) is a former Italian fencer .
Life
Maria Consolata Collino took part in two Olympic Games . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , she was eliminated from the individual competition as fifth in the semifinals. The team failed in the semi-finals against Hungary and was also defeated by the Romanian team in the battle for bronze . In 1976 , the individual competition in Montreal was much more successful for Collino. She reached the final round, in which she landed with 4-1 wins on the shared first place. In the tie-break battle, in which the first hit decided, she was then defeated by Ildikó Schwarczenberger . Collino finished the team competition in seventh place.
