Maria Elisabeth Möst

Maria Elisabeth Möst , also Marilies Möst , (born May 3, 1925 in Wels ; † March 18, 2014 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and housewife. Möst was a member of the National Council from 1979 to 1985 .

Life

Möst attended elementary school in Wels and then graduated from high school in Wels. She then studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and completed her training with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. Möst subsequently worked as a housewife and was a local councilor in Wels from 1973. She also represented the ÖVP in the National Council between June 5, 1979 and October 31, 1985.

Marilies Möst was the mother of the conductor Franz Welser-Möst . The Marilies-Möst-Straße in the Wels district of Niederthan was named after her.
