Maria Kraftman
Maria Kristina Kraftman (born April 22, 1812 in Oulu , † September 28, 1884 in Turku ) was a Finnish-Swedish writer. She wrote in her mother tongue, Swedish.
Her only novel "Så slutades min lek" (1848) was one of the first novels to appear in Finland. Kraftman and her book are discussed in detail in Heidi Grönstrand's work on the role of women in the development of the novel's literary genre.
