Maria Theresa of Spain (1882–1912)
Princess Maria Teresa of Bourbón and Habsburg , full name María Teresa Isabel Eugenia del Patrocinio Diega (born November 12, 1882 in Madrid , † September 23, 1912 ibid) was an infanta of Spain.
Life
Maria Teresa was the daughter of the King of Spain Alfonso XII. de Borbón y de Borbón and his wife, Archduchess Maria Christina of Austria , born in Madrid.
She married Prince Ferdinand Maria Ludwig of Bavaria, a son of Prince Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria and the Infanta of Spain, Maria de la Paz de Borbón y de Borbón , on January 12, 1906 in Madrid.
On September 23, 1912, Maria Teresa died of a stroke at the age of only 29 and was buried in the Real Sitio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial ( Pantheon of the Infants , Chapel 3).
