Maria Zwölfer

Maria Sofie Zwölfer (born March 25, 1954 in Breitenwang ) is an Austrian politician and secondary school teacher. From 2013 to 2015 ( Vorwärts Tirol ) and 2015 to 2018 ( Impuls-tirol ) she was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament .

Life

Maria Sofie Zwölfer attended elementary school in Untergarten between 1960 and 1967 and then graduated from the music-pedagogical secondary school in Zams from 1968 to 1973 . She then attended the Pedagogical Academy Innsbruck between 1973 and 1976 and has been working as a secondary school teacher at the secondary school in Ehrwald since 1976.

She is active in local politics in the Independent Lermoos List and was a candidate for the 2004 direct mayor election in Lermoos , where she made it into the runoff election with 37.2 percent and was able to just win it. In the 2010 election she was able to prevail with 54.8 percent and was mayor again until 2016. She also stood as a candidate in the 2013 state elections on the second list on the Vorwärts Tirol list and entered the state parliament via the state list. She was sworn in on May 24, 2013. In 2015, she split off with the new Impuls-tirol party , which, however, left the state parliament in 2018.
