Maria das Graças

Maria das Graças (born August 24, 1955 in Ouro Preto , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian actress . Das Graças made her debut in 1963 in the French short film La bonne route by Jean Bélanger , after which she played many roles in Brazilian films and on television. She became known for the role of Santa in the telenovela Die Sklavin Isaura , which also brought her international attention. Maria das Graças mostly stayed loyal to TV and played long-term permanent roles in popular Brazilian telenovelas and series such as A Deusa Negra (1978), Caixa Alta (1989) Isto É o Agildo (1995) or A Grande Aposta (1997-1998), since 2008 she plays in the series Podia Acabar o Mundo the Nazaré .
