Mariam Kewchishvili (მარიამ ქევხიშვილი; English transcription: Mariam Kevkhishvili ; born September 17, 1985 in Gardabani , Niederkartlien ) is a Georgian shot putter .

Career

Maria Kewchishvili represented her country twice, in Athens in 2004 and in Beijing in 2008, at the Olympic Games, but failed to qualify for the final on both occasions. In 2005 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Izmir. At the European Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , she reached tenth place.

She achieved her best outdoor performance in April 2010 with 18.46 m in Gainesville (Florida). She had screwed her indoor best four weeks earlier in Fayetteville (Arkansas) to 18.59 m.
