The Marian Cove is a bay on the southwest coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Collins Harbor and Potter Cove .
The bay's name is found in a 1921 report by Scottish geologist David Ferguson (1857-1936) based on his work on King George Island between 1913 and 1914. It is likely that whalers named the bay between 1906 and 1913. The naming background has not survived.
