Marianela Nuñez
Marianela Núñez (* 1982 in San Martín (Buenos Aires) , Argentina ) is an Argentine ballet dancer with the rank of "Principal Dancer" with the Royal Ballet in London .
Life
Marianela Núñez was born in San Martín ( Gran Buenos Aires ). She received her first ballet lessons at the age of three and was admitted to the Instituto Superior de Arte des Teatro Colón at the age of eight . At the age of 14 she was accepted into the corps de ballet . In 1997 she continued her education at the "Upper School" of the Royal Ballet School in London. At the beginning of the 1998/99 season she was accepted into the company of the Royal Ballet and in 2001 was named "First Soloist". In September 2002 she was promoted to "Principal Dancer" and has been dancing the leading roles ever since.
