Marianne Sophie Weikard

Marianne Sophie Weikard (* 1770 ; † 1823 ) was a German writer .

Life

Weikard was the daughter of the doctor and philosopher Melchior Adam Weikard . She also got her first lessons from him.

At the age of about 30 she married the Reitzenstein district councilor .

Weikard's literary work was largely based on the tradition of French comedies or their German arrangements.
