Marichal Ketin (officially: Fonderies J. Marichal Ketin & Cie. , MK for short) is a Belgian company based in Liège in the field of steel casting . It was founded by the engineer Jean Marichal-Ketin in 1911 and initially specialized in cylinder and rolled steel products. Even then, the workpieces with a weight of 4 t t processed to 40 wt. In 1951 the company was the first European manufacturer of rolling bearings in composite materials . In 1970 a hot strip mill was built for rolls that were individually manufactured according to customer requirementsSteel alloys are produced. 120 workers produce between 750 and 850 rollers a year.

The plant is located on the left bank of the Meuse in the Liège industrial suburb of Sclessin . Ships could moor there until the 1970s, when the quay was expanded to become the 617 national road, which has since separated the river from the factory premises. There is a siding to the Liège – Namur line.

In the 2012/2013 financial year, 64% of sales were achieved through exports to countries outside the European Union. The main shareholder of Marichal Ketin is the German Gontermann-Peipers group with 72% .
